The Global Haitian Books Register (GHBR) is a heritage and scholarship platform that catalogues books, doctoral dissertations, and scholarly papers by Haitian authors and authors of Haitian descent — and works about Haiti by authors anywhere in the world.

Data provenance
The seed dataset (June 2026) combines Livres en folie (32e édition, Pétion-Ville) and the Salon du Livre Haïtien de New York (4e édition, Nassau Community College). Sources are linked on each record where available.
